A wedding invitation samples is typically divided into four different sections, i.e. the host, the guest, the date, time and place of the ceremony and reception. This article examines the sections in a standard wedding invitation included and provides an orientation for the reader.

1. The host of the wedding

The host of the wedding may be the parents of the bride, the bride and groom or the parents of the bride and groom. It tradition that the brides parents hosted the wedding was however nowadays the majority of the couples the wedding host itself often with the help of the two sets of parents. There are a variety of different ways of wording, depending on who hosts. The following suggestions are offered as a guide.

When the bride and the groom of the wedding host itself, of the following wording, perhaps as:

The honor of your presence is requested in the wedding of...

You request the honor of your presence at their wedding Anne Smith and John James...

Do you want Anne Smith and John James together with their families/parents to join them, on the occasion of their wedding invite...

Request the honor of your presence on the occasion of their wedding, together with their families/parents Anne Smith and John James...

In the case where the bride and groom parents hosting the wedding:

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith

and

Mr. and Mrs. William James

request the pleasure of your company

at the wedding of their children...

Finally, it is the parents of the bride, then maybe used the wedding following host:

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith

request the pleasure of your company

at the wedding of her daughter

Anne Smith, John James

It was always the tradition called the bride for the first time on the wedding invitation samples. This perhaps explain that traditionally paid the parents of the bride for the wedding. It is not uncommon that nowadays the groom name first will be called. Ultimately this is a personal choice and whose name appears first is the decision for bride and groom.

2. Addressing the guests - with their correct title.

Addressing the wedding guests with their correct title shows thought, consideration and respect. Today there a variety of different titles this the task all the more difficult. There, common sense is the best course of action and are consistent, but it is not as easy as with Mr. and Mrs. on your wedding invitations. Their invitees can have different titles. The standard, to use Mr and Mrs i.e. Mr and Mrs John Owens is when addressing men and women have the same last name. Likewise, if they do not share the same last name, is the norm, as Mr John Owens and wife Sinead Flynn to solve them. If a doctor Dr replace one of these guests then just for Mr/Mrs separated or divorced couples should receive separate invitations and if you have a new partner, the standard of this partner name is included. The same rules apply in the case of gay and lesbian couples, but you should name the partners in alphabetical order. Finally, it is recorded after their names to invite a person who will bring a date "plus one".

(3) The date, time and place

The numbers and time E.g. were traditional formal wedding invitations "15 April two thousand and fourteen to 01:30 in the afternoon" written out. The design of your wedding theme will dictate whether the numbers in date and time written out or leave in numerical form. The latter is becoming the norm with the modern wedding invitation samples. The location of the wedding ceremony follows the date and can be shown ahead of time. The reception location follows. An example of typical date, Time and venue layouts can be:
